Hybrid Conure

Hello everyone, I am new here and have been learning a ton of stuff that will help me provide my conure a full and happy life. While reading some post I have seen the word Hybrid. I know that the conure I bought is a Hybrid. He is a cross; his mom was a cinnamon green cheek and father a Dusky conure. When i got Remi the women I got him from made it seem like he was special and worth more money because he was a Hybrid or at least that's what she told my daughter. Fist let me say it makes no difference to me I love him no matter what. I only ask because I have come across it here on the forum and now I wonder if it could mean health issues he might be prone too. If anyone has a Hybrid or knows more info on the subject please share. I have not spent time with other conures so I have none to judge him by only that he is smart and gentle but very timid.

I don't have a hybrid and I am not really familiar with the topic, but I would recommend taking Remi to an avian vet to have him checked over if you haven't done so already - the vet would probably be able to answer your questions about any issues related to his status as a hybrid.
