Name - Shade
Gender (specify if DNA, known, or guessed) - Female (DNA)
Sub Species (if known) - Unknown, thinking she might be a "mix"
Current Age - 3
Age at which you acquired - Officially came to live with me somewhere between three and four months, but "purchased" when she was a month old.
Eye color (and age at which it changed) - Silvery/yellow; definitively not the bright yellow. Not sure when it changed.
Minimum, Maximum, and Typical Weight in Grams - Typical weight, around 110g-112g or so.
Favorite Foods - The list is long. She eats anything and everything.
Temperament - Sweetheart :) She goes to just about anyone, gets along great with my other birds (except Petey but this is Petey's doing). Loves to cuddle as well and has been quite the beaver lately - no wood toy is safe while she is around ;)

Name- Pippin
Gender- DNA sexed male
Sub Species- Poicephalus senegalus mesotypus (orange breasted)
Current Age- 2 years 4 months
Age at which you acquired - 6 months
Eye color - light yellow I'd say they changed between 6 months and a year
weight - 144 or so
Favorite Foods - pine nuts in shell, pistachio nuts in shell, anything I'm eating
Temperament - sweet to me... cuddles under my chin and preens me. Gets a bit rough when he's playing. Has recently started screaming at my husband and is showing signs of becoming phobic. He's terrified of the scale and of the nail clippers which never used to bother him. He's also quite aggressive towards the other birds.

When he first came home. His eyes are greyish here so they change from black to grey in the first 6 months or so.

And Pippin now.

Okay, I have three. When I figure out how to post photos, I'll add but right now I have a problem with resizing them:

Name: Babylon
Gender (specify if DNA, known, or guessed): Hen
Sub Species (if known): Yellow orange vest
Current Age:She's 8 as of January
Age at which you acquired: Six months
Eye color (and age at which it changed): I don't remember it changing. yellow
Minimum, Maximum, and Typical Weight in Grams: 125 - 130
Favorite Foods: Apples, Jalapeno peppers, pellets, sprouts, carrots
Temperament: Mercurial. When she is good, she is very, very good but when she is bad, she's a banshee!

Name: Jack
Gender (specify if DNA, known, or guessed): Male
Sub Species (if known): Yellow orange Vest
Current Age: 10 years old
Age at which you acquired: around 7 years old
Eye color (and age at which it changed): Yellow
Minimum, Maximum, and Typical Weight in Grams: 155 grams
Favorite Foods: Carrots, broccolis, jalapeno peppers, pellets
Temperament: Happy go lucky but timid until he is secure in his environment. Babylon is his girlfriend so he can get a little defensive of territory.

Name: Bailey
Gender (specify if DNA, known, or guessed): Not tested, but most likely male
Sub Species (if known): Orange vest
Current Age: Probably 16 years old
Age at which you acquired: Probably 13 years old
Eye color (and age at which it changed): Yellow
Minimum, Maximum, and Typical Weight in Grams: 165 grams
Favorite Foods: Pellets, then sprouts. Not as much into carrots. Will eat broccoli on occassion but likes to toss it too
Temperament: Loves men. He can be a little grouchy because of past injuries. He will whine like a dog for attention. He gets the least respect of all of my birds. He is also very stubborn and manipulative. He is a funny little guy.

Name: Tamber

Gender (specify if DNA, known, or guessed): Male (breeder guessed and supported by avian vet, based on forehead size which tends to be bigger in males. I know this isn't the most reliable but it really makes no difference to me.)

Sub Species (if known): Mesotypus (I believe)

Current Age: Hatched 8/13/08, so almost 1-1/2 years

Age at which you acquired: 9 months

Eye color (and age at which it changed): Yellow - the change was so gradual I don't know when it happened.

Minimum, Maximum, and Typical Weight in Grams: My vet has that info. Originally, I never thought I'd be able to get him to stay on a scale. Now I'm sure I could and I probably should. He's been a good weight both times he's seen the vet.

Favorite Foods: Pine nuts, apple, dried mango, carrot, brocolli, Mandarin oranges, slivered almonds, dried pineapple, millet and if he can personally tear it up (rather than me chopping/cutting it up), he loves it all the more.

Temperament: Playful, talkative; inquisitive; doesn't like to be ignored; outgoing; loves to swing by grabbing the tob bars of his cage to get a good gravity drop and then leans side to side to propel himself extremely fast; he seems interested in all people, but, he favors me; jealous of other birds.

I still can't get a picture without him freaking out when he sees the camera. We will work on this eventually.
