he sometimes does it when he wants a treat but i am not sure. I always think something might be bothering him so i just give him some scratches to feel better.

Emmi has been doing that a lot today too, but I'm not sure what it means.
My family: "Emmi" Green Cheek Conure (12/15/2012), One husband, two step kids, and one baby boy born in January 2015!

I can't get it to play...my phone is being weird tonight. Does the video say what the sounds mean?

That might be it! Emmi is hormonal as of yesterday. :/ That's when it started!

nevermind it cant be a mating noise. I think it really is a baby noise.

I think it sounds like regressing to baby begging, he wants food from his parents. I am not sure though, with amazons its a slightly different sound, more like AH-AH-AH, but it sounds kind of the same. I'll let someone with more senegal experience comment on that though.

Anyway, I believe the suggestion was to feed him something nice if he does that, some oatmeal or something, but wait until you get confirmation from others before doing it. Note, dont reward it during training with a treat, but rather if he starts begging prepare some mushy food for him :)...
