My sennie escaped cage...

Postby Nir » Mon Jul 15, 2013 9:33 pm

It was a scary phone call. As usual when i leave my house i put mango back in his cage. anyway i got a phone call saying that mango was sitting on top of his cage chilling. And i didnt want to risk anyone else touching him so i came home real quick to handle the situation. but wth? my cage isnt a cheap cage either. Its very sturdy and i have to put a lot of pressure to even open the food door. He suposedly opened the water door and got out.

now on i tighten the screw so its impossible for anyone to open the door when i leave just in case.. I am pretty sure i closed the water door as well so it cant be that. figured everyone can benefit from this post so they know how smart a sennie can be.

Wow. Mango sounds like a smart cookie! Are you sure someone didn't let him out?

No one would dare. They would tell me at least.

Oh, yes, they are VERY smart and they love getting out of their cages but, instead of tightening the door screw, try using a stainless steel keychain thingy like this one http://www.findingking.com/p-74874-3-lo ... parts.aspx - I find them real useful.
