Hey!!! Every lovebird is different...I have 2 right now....My first one is more daring and attached to me he chases my dog and likes to be pet sometimes, my second one isn't as interested in me...he is kind of slow and doesn't come to me like my other one does...he is more gentle and does not really bite the first one will give you a nip if you bother him! If you want a tame lovebird you need to spend a lot of time with them when they are young, they are very sweet and playful and are attention hungry..I don't know if that answered your question but let me know if there is anything specifically you want to know.-Josie(:

Although lovies all have their own personality (just like people do), there are a few generalities that apply to the species: The female is dominant so they are always more territorial and nippy than the males. They are hormonal little things so you have to be VERY careful about light schedule, diet and environment. They do MUCH better when in pairs (but you can't put two females together although you can put two males)
