Species

Dear All,

I live in Bangladesh. i have a small amount of birds. 10 lovebirds 2 budgies 2 javas 2 finches and some budgie chicks of my budgie pairs. I need 2 suggestions. first of all recently i saw pictures of a different kind of parrot in one of my friends profile. different means i havent seen those in Bangladesh yer. he wrote the name as red bellied beraban. i googled by that name but couldnt find anything. i want to attach the picture. but i dn know how to attach here. so if someone give his mail address i can send it. please tell me the species so that i can have more information on it. and the second thing is in bangladesh its not possible to test dna for sexing. i found it hard to breed lovebirds. i am pretty much sure that my peach face rosy is male and peach face lutino is female. thay are quite a pair. they cuddle each other. by their nesting behavior i mean keeping nesting materials in their back or bite force or spacing when stands on the perch i mean by their every behavior i am pretty much sure about their sex. the female lay eggs after every 2-3 months. but those are not fertile. male used to stand outside while female inside with the eggs. male is fully healthy very active. my cage size is 2 feet-2 feet -2 feet

The shape of the face/head and body looks like a Superb Parrot, also known as Barraband Parrot, which would explain your friend describing it as "beraban" - kind of sounds the same right?
But I have no idea about the coloring. It has the same shape of the yellow head markings as a Barraband, but this one is kind of red-ish. Maybe it's a mutation I haven't heard of or maybe it's sick, but my guess is definitely Barraband.

I think they're just generally really poofy!

I think it's a Superb Parrot as well, but they don't seem to be popular pets. I couldn't find much on their mutations.
