Well, it has a blue eye ring so it's either a Fitzroy, an Eleanora or a Lesser Sulfur but I doubt it's a Fitzroy because they are very rare - and the only real noticeable difference between the Eleanora and the Lesser is size and that cannot be judged from a picture. There is also the bald patch behind the crest as well as the body yellow suffusion that Eleanoras have and not Lessers but, to tell you the truth is almost impossible to say with any certainty whether a sulfur crested too is one species or another because there has been A LOT of interbreeding and almost all of them are now mixes. Tritons also have the blue eye ring but their crest is wider than what this bird has.

Now, diet has a lot to do with their plumage coloring. I took in a 17 year old Lesser Sulfur but after a year of a fresh food diet and after a normal molt (he came to me in August and as he had been kept to a human light schedule, he never had a full molt the first year), I realized he was not a Lesser after all (he developed a lovely, lovely yellow suffusion all over his body, dark yellow ear patches -he had none before, and his crest is now almost orange!)

That's a lot of things to consider!

I know she's supposatly an escape artist cause she always find a way to escape despite new locks Lol!

She seems to be a pretty good talker too and the petshop owner said she's very mischievous... When she escapes her cage, she goes on the floor and rip toys for sale apart and bags of dog foods...

I'm trying to learn about her subspecie before buying her so I know better her caracteristics...

Do you think her feathers could ever grow back to normal?

If the follicles are not damaged, they will. As to finding out the exact subspecies before you make a decision, let me tell you that, in terms of housing and diet, there is none - and if there is any real difference in terms of temperament, I haven't figured it out yet because they are all VERY loud screamers, HUGE chewers, dedicated explorers, expert escape artists and very needy birds. But, when they are healthy and happy (and this is not as easy as it sounds and the proof is the fact that she plucks), they are the funniest, most affectionate, sweetest, cuddliest things ever! I have two, one is the typical too I described, the other (the one that changed completely after his second molt here) was terrified of me and terribly wary of the other birds (took weeks for him to come out of his open cage in the birdroom) but he now flies, eats with the other birds (and stands his ground when challenged by the amazons), steps up, allows me to scratch/preen his head and has started talking! He still doesn't come to me of his own accord but the poor thing lived in a cockatiel-size cage for 17 years and hardly ever came out more than an hour, it at all, for the last two years he was in his previous home (and I am not even sure if it's actually true that he was allowed to come out) so this is a huge improvement for him (I have to take pictures of him and post them here because he is one of the most beautiful birds I've seen).
