I just got a new Linnie

Postby Tweety's mom » Fri Feb 28, 2014 5:59 pm

Hi
I just got a new Linnie parakeet and was wondering if it would be alright to put him in the cage with a couple of parakeets.

The cage is about 5' tall and 2-3 ' wide it has plenty of room for al of them. The Linnie has been sitting right next to the parakeets so they are aware of each other. If I can how do I introduce them or can I just set him on a perch?

Thanks Rosemarie

Actually, that would not be a good idea at all. There is something about budgies and odd numbers that never works out unless you are talking of higher numbers like 9 or 11. When you put three together, you always end up with trouble. But, if you got another budgie or linnie, it might (and 'might' is the operative word here!) work out.
