Princess Parrot Napping

Postby lwkiss1 » Fri Apr 11, 2014 12:49 am

I noticed that my 1 year old Princess Parrot likes to sleep (nap) a few times a day. She is very healthy and I often am afraid to take her out during these naps because I don't want to disturb her. The pet store said they often take these kinds of naps, but I was wondering if others have had this experience. Thanks!

Parrots tend to rest during the day, its natural! In the wild their prime time is dawn and dusk for foraging.

Agree with CML, it's normal and natural for a parrot to nap.
