I am not familiar with this food, but I will research it and get back to you on it. Regardless of the answer on this food, I can say that all by itself it is not good enough as Zeus needs far more than seeds and nuts to have a good healthy diet. A seed mix such as this is good for feeding him as the evening meal and then removing it from the cage after he goes to sleep.
He needs to have a variety of vegetables and fruits in his diet as well as cooked whole grains. The best time to give him these things are for his morning meal. This is why I asked you to read the list that I provided you the link to as it contains a list of good and bad foods for Zeus. Please take the time to read it, the list is on the second page. I will get back to you later today.

And this is what I found concerning the feed that you showed in your post. It isn't bad, but I do agree with Pajarita about how to use this food. By the way she is the most knowledgeable person here on nutrition as far as I know. This information is from the manufacturer and although it is labeled a little different it is the same bag in all other respects. I searched for Vitakraft African bird food, and this is what I got.

Thank you for the pictures, the lighting must be off as they were all kind of blue, but what the hey, I can't get the colors right either with these new digital cameras.
I saw your hand in one picture with Zeus on a stick above his cage, any way his eye was pinned. Not a big deal but wanted you to take note of this as Usually when a Senegal pins their eyes, they are in a mood to bite. sometimes it just means that they are interested in something, but it is a good indicator because even when it means that they are just intent on something else if you break their focus the tend to get irritated and bite first, think about it later.
I am working on tearing up my existing floor and installing a new one. Yesterday, I could not get Kiki, my Senegal to stay off of me. So I spent the entire day ripping out old flooring and putting down new flooring, Sawing and banging with this little bird hanging on between my shoulders at the base of my neck. That wasn't so bad, although I was concerned for her safety, but every few minutes she would reach up and smack me at the base of the neck trying to tell me that this was not a good thing and to leave it alone and just let her nap on my shoulder, which is where she went anytime that I stopped for a minute. I wish that there was a way to have gotten some pictures for you to see , but I was working alone.
Just thought that you might be interested in just how loyal, devoted and fearless these birds really are.

I don't think that this is the same food he uses, Wolf. At least, the ingredients don't seem to be the same as the one I found with the same name and picture on the label but who knows...

And, yes, senegals are stubborn little things, aren't they? I had to laugh at the picture you painted of working with her on your back - I had one that I called my 'brooch bird' because she would grab the neck of my top right under my chin and hang on there no matter what I did come hell or high water -LOL-

When I went to the Northern Parrot website I got the same thing that you got and it was also called the same thing as mecnun showed. When I went to the Vitakraft website they did not have this product al all but this bag had the same picture and no other food that they produced had anything similar.
What I suspect is that they are marketing different food overseas than in the US, or they are marketing the same feed as in the US but label it different overseas. Northern Parrot is in Great Britain, I think, as the currency was different. Vitakraft is based in Ohio.
