Can anyone tell me at what age hahns and pionus reach maturity? I am getting mixed information. I am looking into getting a rescue/ rehome and am seeing a lot of birds who fall into a questionable age category. Probably as they are going through ' the change'. I want a bird that has definitely reached maturity.
Any help most gratefully received!

Sexual maturity for both species happens between 2 to 3 years of age but, any bird older than 2 should be OK.
