I just moved to Scarborough for a month, and i wanna keep a lovebird as my new pet :) . But I don't know where to buy it, can you guys suggest me any breeders that I can trust ((:

You should really consider a rescue. the myth about rescue birds being untamed is COMPLETE lies.
sure, there will be some birds with issues in a rescue, but the majority of birds in there will be just as good a pet as what you can get from a breeder. it will cost you A LOT less money, and it will not be supporting the bird trade, and it will give a bird a new, and better life.and in case you decide a parrot is too much to handle, which a lot of people do, it will be doing no harm to turn it back in. if this is your first parrot, ALL parrots take time to get to know you and trust you. I really hope you consider this. i got a 1000$ cockatoo for free by rescuing it from a local family, and she is AMAZING.

keep in mind it is best to have two lovebirds rather than one.
