Oh No! I think that the problem that you are having to deal with concerning Loreto and Lola is definitely hormonal. And I believe that poor diet as well as an abnormal lighting schedule are primary factors in causing this problem. As is the extreme lack of exercise.
With the fighting that has happened they may have lost there bond with each other, but only time will tell for certain, but I would separate them at least until this problem is resolved and that is going to take quite a while. Unfortunately this did not occur overnight and there is no quick fix for it either.

Yes, I agree. The solution is not getting another mate for both, it's eliminating the problem. Amazons always get along with other amazons but this is only true of birds that are healthy and content which doesn't happen when they are sexually frustrated (I bet poor Loreto is in constant pain so don't hold it against him when he lashes out at her)

A little update on this one! Lola is doing much better, she is just THE most kind, gentle parrot.. She takes scratched from me, steps up to me and family members (even strangers), takes treats and gets out of the cage to exercise. She loves to fly to the windows and peek on whatever we're doing! (Which gets a little weird for the bathroom windows, but well..)

As for Loreto.. To tell you the truth, I've always been scared of him, he terrifies me.. When he got home (I took him from someone else) you could tell he was aggressive, we tried getting him out of the cage, and it all was just fine for a while.. But he ended up biting my dad until he bled when he tried to pick him from the ground. Right now he seems a little more calmed, but I just can't trust him enough to get him out of the cage... You guys have any advise on this subject?

Oh, and fun fact! The little parakeet seems to love walking around both Lola AND Loreto's cage, it's like a little child who just wants to be around both of them. I find it super cute.

Anyways, thanks for all the help!
Everyone likes birds. What creature is more accessible to our eyes and ears, as close to us and everyone in the world?

Fear or no fear, he needs to come out of his cage to fly on a daily basis or his muscles will atrophy, his tendons will shrink and his respiratory system will not function correctly. Just open the door to his cage about 2 hours prior sunset and step back. If you are feeding him right, he will go back into his cage at sunset for his high protein dinner on his own. Keeping a bird caged all the time does not help with aggression, it usually makes it worse.
