Sounds like his bird is flighted and yet a real companion to him as well. While they might be aviary birds, they seem like they're great companions as well. We'll continue to see moving forward but please check out that video if you can. Thanks
If you are referring to two videos on a bird named Tango posted by Miller, I watched them both. One is 12 months old and the bird looked like a baby (it appears he had no vertical flight at the time), and the other is 11 months so, if the bird was a baby a month before this one, he was not an adult on the second one. There hasn't been any other videos since so I don't know what has happened since - meaning has the bird remained as he was on these two videos or has he changed. What I did notice was that, on the second video, he kept on caressing the bird's back and that tells me the guy doesn't know much about birds. I saw a few other ones and they all showed the birds on their own, walking around and such - I also saw one of a regent named Poppy that broke my heart, small cage, dark room, anxious bird walking back and fro talking, whistling and desperate for attention...
Don't misunderstand me, I am not saying that people cannot be happy with rock pebblers, they can! It all depends on what makes you happy. Most people want a parrot for the cuddliness, the physical affection, the companionship, etc and rock pebblers are not known for that. But, if you love birds and are like me, just happy to look at them and getting satisfaction in simply providing them with a good home, then rock pebblers are perfect. Only it doesn't work out for them when they are single - but then, I don't think that any parrot should be single, either.
