Yes, Wolf's questions are essential to any recommendation of a particular species but allow me to clarify a couple of points.
Senegals and Sunnies are VASTLY different from each other but they are both birds that will bond more with one person. Whether the bird turns aggressive toward others is more a question of how the bird is kept than of species.
It's simply not true that you can train a parrot out of its normal vocalization. Sun conures screams are loud, shrill and more frequent than other species. Senegals are considered one of the 'quiet' species but they can scream loud and often, too (I had one that was given up because the owner was afraid of getting evicted because of her constant screaming).
Both aggression toward others and screams are a matter of how the birds are kept. Parrots get aggressive and/or scream all the time and/or show what people call 'inadequate behavior' when they are overly hormonal and/or left alone or caged for long periods of time. I have both senegals and conures and they are not aggressive toward other people nor do they scream all the time but this was not achieved through training but through good husbandry.
