Yea, hyrbids in general suffer from conflicting traits. And such combination of traits can vary from situation to situation.

Yes ,the Galatiel was fathered by a gala and monthered by a pied cockatiel(rose breasted cockatoo)

I have seen videos of it and a few pictures of it.

Also due to being a hybrid ,it will most likey dislay "hybrid Vigor" where it will live long and grow stronger then both its parents.

Also its about 25% larger then a cockatiel

i read it in a parrot book but i think it may have been an old one as i trawl second hand shops for books. just a hobby, i give them to our local one when im done.

i found this one its a rainbow lorikeet/scaley lorikeet hybrid i find these are quite common

yes, we in the states call it a rose breast, native to Australia they are called galah.

:shock: all I can think of is frankenstein but with a bunch of random bird parts stuck together. its just so... weird. kinda pretty though, once you get over the strangeness. my first thought was "photoshop!" cuz I didn't think such a bird could exist
