I don't like pellets for any parrot and one of the reasons is their super unnatural dryness (max of 10%) which their digestive system is not meant for (parrots natural diets are 85 to 95% moisture) so I would like them even less for lories.

Are 'O Rings like below safe to hang toys with?

If they are stainless steel and big enough so no part of the bird can get stuck in one, yes, they are safe.

There are 2 sizes of 'O' rings to choose from, 15mm or 20mm diameter. Which do you think is most suitable for the size of a rainbow lorikeet? I am also planning to make an 'L' stand training perch using natural wood as the perch. I am still wondering what material to use for the stand, and I was thinking about using PVC. What do you think?

I would go for the larger but, to be honest, 20 mm is still a bit too small for my taste.

I do NOT like PVC for my birds. Also, if I were you, I would not put too much hope into training a lory...

I guess lories do tend to be quite (very) hyper... but I'll give it a shot anyways. Or at the least, they are very playful and lovable.

Yes, babies are playful and lovable but they grow up. And, it's not that they are 'hyper', it's that they are flighty because they are aviary and not companion birds.

I agree with you that they are very flight birds, but I reckon with enough training and interaction, they can become great companion bird.
