So I've been looking into these birds and I'm wondering if it'll be alright in my house. It's a fairly loud house. I have a Parakeet (I'd put them in separate cages) and a Maltese dog. Would the bird be ok living in the house?

I don't know your dog and you can't just keep a bird caged.

With no more information than you have given me to go on, I honestly can't give you an accurate answer to your question. Perhaps if you would tell me about your parakeet I might be able to be of assistance. Conures and parakeets are both parrots so if you tell me what kind of parakeet you have, what you feed it and what an average day is like for your parakeet, I should be able to answer you.

Welcome to the forum! And yes, it is as Wolf said, it might be fine and, then it might not, it all depends on the household and husbandry so more details are needed.
