If I might make a suggestion, you might try putting them together in a cage that doesn't belong to either of them. I guess you have found out that they are very "cage territorial" That way neither of them is intruding on the other's space.

Rajah completed his quarantine period in NJ just before I picked him up. The party that got him for me has several birds of her own so she kept him quarantined there, as a result he has not had time to claim this cage as his own in just the few days that he has been here.

I also have to say that I have found that 'cage territoriality' is not really a problem when the bird comes out for long periods of time and is not overly-hormonal. I think it's more a matter of inadequate husbandry than an inherent problem to parrots...
