I sure can't help you. When I needed names in a hurry I came up with Tweet and Retweet. I like to name them with their personalities such as Flutter and Phoenix but I did go with Wolf's suggestion of Amos and Andy. Rescues were coming in too fast at that time and I needed names fast.
If Myrtle had not come with knowing her name. I would have named her Sissy for the way she talks when on my shoulder or at quiet time at the end of the day. She could also have been named Terror for her active time.
Not knowing the age of the parrot makes it more difficult because an older on may already have a name and young ones with no name yet are fun if you can hold on until you begin to see their personality. Tell me about the new bird and maybe I can suggest something.
Wolf is correct. If the parrot is an adult, it already has a name and it should not be changed. But, if it's a baby, you can all him whatever you like. My Bluefronted male's name is Blue Grinch because he is such a cantankerous old thing and he had no name from before (he was a breeder bird)
