Anyway, remember a couple months ago I was talking about owning a macaw once moved out? I've thought about it more. I don't think a large parrot is for me. If I became a mechanical engineer like I'm planning on, I'll have long work days. Not to mention business trips. A large parrot would be extremely difficult to take with me. Plus, it'd probably be easier to find a girl willing to move in with a small parrot
To the question. What it the general noise level of a green cheek conure? I know all parrots are loud, I've been there. How loud are they compared to other parrots, say... A goffins or macaw? Frequency doesn't really matter to me, just volume. I'm really interested in a GCC. I was thinking about an IRN as well but, no matter how much they entertain me, I don't think they're a good choice. Basically I'm looking for a "starter bird" but staying with it. Also, poweder birds like budgies and cockatiels wouldn't work either; I have asthma. Sorry for the long post, and thanks in advance.
