I Adopted a lovebird

I just got a lovebird today hes a Male there was a Female too but I chose him he has a cracked beak you can see his nose its badly damaged he was attacked by a bigger parrot in a home he once lived in.I was wondering if I bring him to the vet can they repair it.Hes so cute and he can eat fine and he likes vegetables too hes around 2 years old.

Rio went to the vet they said his beak is fully healed and they can't join it back because it already healed and he said if I wanted to get it repaired it would cause him trauma or somehow at least he can eat and isn't in pain his looks don't matter to me

He tried some watermelon today and loved it hes still getting used to his surroundings the new perches in his cage and toys his previous owner only had plastic perches all the same size.

The female is aggressive and attacks him either way I would want him to bond to me and not her.

No, he said that there was also a female there that was available but it could easily been understood as the two having been together.

Hes great he is knows how to step up and all now he loves being with me Tiko and him seem to like each other too and Tiko dosent like the cockatiels or my Aunts conure.And my Aunt got a parrotlet and brought him up today and him and Rio were eating together and having a nap on Tikos cage.
