Japan has a fad culture when it comes to pets unfortunately...I'll elaborate on what I mean when I get home.

But also, this suggests interesting things about parrots' ability to adapt! Especially since ringnecks are birds which hail from near the equator and while Japan is considered technically tropical, it does get colder there.
