You can't tell a parrots age by looking at them, however if the parrot in the video is yours, it is wearing a red band on it's left leg and if you look for the two digit number that is turned sideways from all of the other numbers and letter, that is usually the year the bird hatched.

Was this supposed to have been a redbellied macaw or a yellow shouldered amazon? Because the video is of an amazon - but, in any case, you can't really tell the age by looking. When they get real old, their legs and feet get scaly and, sometimes, the toes a bit deformed... their eyes tend to sink a bit, too but this only happens when they are real old.

Nobody can tell the age of a parrot.

If it is a solid band it could only have been put on at a very specific time in the baby birds life as it will not fit over the foot at a later age the bird would only have been just a few weeks of age when the solid band was put on. only a split band can be put on later.

There is no other way to determine the age of the parrot.

Well, only if the band is of metal or hard plastic because they also have bands that are kind of rubbery and stretch out and are closed. There is a special little thing that stretches it out so you can fit it over the foot and then lets go so the band is close to the leg. Canary breeders use them all the time (to fit over an adult size bird foot once you determined if it's male or female -which you can't do until after they are 3 months old- or to designate a good breeding pair -some bird get along better than others, etc) but I don't know if they make them big enough for parrots...
