We have a 26-year-old, female greenwing macaw who looks relatively unplucked, but all the feathers under her wings are gone. I guess thats where she plucks. It's been a long-term thing, too. The follicles are all gone.

She is the sweetest bird, though. She's my pal. She's just hates being caged
