Article claiming Australia is failing all its birds in danger of extinction (they even mentioned the orange-bellies specificially).

As more females than males came back, biologists decided to release more males from the breeding program so no female is left without a mate with which she can procreate.

Only 20% survival for juveniles - they die in migration but they don't know what causes it (it's the wintering habitat, if you ask me).
