They are not easy to find anywhere because they are highly endangered but they are such pretty little things! A 'cousin' of the Green Cheek Conure and, as all the other cousins, looking very much like a GCC! I don't know about anyone else but I would love to foster a pair and let the babies be parent raised with as much natural as I can give them. That way they would be ready for release. I would wait until I had at least 6 babies to be released together. I would also wait until they were a year old for release.

I guess I put on my "rose colored glasses" for this post.

:lol: Yes, you did. Parrots cannot be bred in a house in USA and then released in South America. They need to be bred out in the open and in the same environment where they will be released. They are smart and can learn to fend for themselves but it needs to be done at a certain age and the right way.
