You're right, I guess they closed down late 2009. The location at 3291 Yonge is still open. I've always had mixed emotions about pet stores in general but I find it very strange they would shut down the busy Yorkdale Mall location.

I don't understand why you would have a problem with the price in this case? I would think the markup is to offset the cost of carrying a variety of birds, training staff and handling/raising. It's when they sell a living creature (at discount) or clearly have an overstock, that I get a little concerned.
