Military Macaw Conservation Program

Postby lzver » Thu Jun 10, 2010 6:11 am

At our local parrot club meeting last night one of the members did a presentation on a Military Macaw Conservation Program that she works with down in Mexico. She goes down every winter and volunteers with them. It is depressing to think how we are destroying the habitat for so many beautiful animals and can't put an end to poaching once and for all.

Just wanted to post some information that she provided last night. Just spreading the word and trying to bring light and additional support to the cause.
