Some people might think they are better looking. Maybe you even get a 'perfect bird' with the looks of one and the character of the other. Maybe the offspring is able to reproduce as well and you can breed a whole new 'species' of artificial parrot.
There are always people who will be interested in these hybrids. And as long as those people are around hybrids will be bred. In my opinion it would be a good idea to start registering hybrids to make sure you keep the hybrids seperate from the purebreds. I know that all parrots are registered in Germany, they arent as precise here in the Netherlands. How are things over seas?
