I'd participate.
I've had a knack of late of being able to identify some Senegals genders correctly (being proven right by a DNA test).

Getting used to seeing small differences, but it surely does help about having seen quite a few and knowing what they were before trying to guess one self.

I'd be more than happy to participate.

I haven't had Jessie DNA sexed yet, but based on other Senegal's I've seen (male and female), I am more convinced than ever that Jessie is a male. And when Jessie went in to the vet a few weeks ago, she agreed that she thought he was male. She said he was one of the largest Senegal's she had seen in her Avian vet career.

I know its not a huge cost to mail in the card and get the DNA test done, but I've decided it doesn't really matter. Jessie is my little monkey boy and I'm not sure how I would react if I found out he was really a she.

...cologne...

Seriously though...has anyone come across the method that claims you can recognize males from females by the way they sit? I'll have to see if I can find it...can't remember which way it goes...something to do with feet further apart vs. feet closer together when they perch.

Rue, I love your signature thing about parrot's duty.

And I think Mona said something about hens sitting lower and more fluffed out than males, unfortunately I can't remember what topic it was on.
