I dunno. I did try to import a Greater Vasa several years ago, but it was such a hassle, not to mention I was scared the bird would be freaked out during quarantine...so I didn't go ahead...

But I would still get one - if my plate weren't full up with parrots.

And part of me would still like a macaw.

Otherwise I wouldn't mind more amazons...the Mealy and White-spectacled are both very appealing...

My dream bird is a toss-up between an African Grey and a Goffin Cockatoo. I would never want a baby goffin, I would find an older rescue bird to work with... Now the grey I would LOVE a newly weaned one, they're so intelligent it astounds me. I doubt I would ever get either of these. Actually, I almost adopted an adult goffin from a rescue, but then I found my Galileo. Maybe I will stick with caiques! :) If you can't tell I am kinda wishy-washy about my favorite bird... I love them all and all of their various personalities...

My dream bird is a CAG. All my previous and current birds except for my tiels were family pets, and not mine. My tiels are not hand-raised since hand raised tiels weren't available in my area (horrible breeders locally, so I buy all my birds from the local Petco because it's much better). So I'd really like a hand-raised CAG. I like cuddling with the tiels, but it's hard when they're not tame and only tolerate it to an extent. In addition, I'm always afraid I'll hurt the bird by accident because of how small it is. Try scratching a budgie's neck; it's a bit scary to me because of his size. There are a lot of other reasons I'd like to own a CAG, but I don't want to write an essay about it.

My second pick would be a sun conure. I keep hearing awesome things about them, and all the conures I've been in contact with were so goofy. There was one at Petco for example, and whenever people walked over to his enclosure, he'd roll over on his back and wave. I almost got him, but realized it wasn't the right time.

If money, space, international laws and extinction wouldnt be a problem. I dont know. I absolutely love the look of red tailed black cockatoos. But I dont think I am a cockatoo person. Their character just doesnt fit me.
Now that I know more about parrots in general and I have had a chance to handle more birds, I know my heart lies with the african parrots. I would love to have a Timney AG (love the maroon tail and darker grey body), but I also love the cape parrot. It would be a very difficult choice.
My bf is in love with macaws. Ever since we saw a Hyacinth in real life, he has wanted one. Unfortunately, we havent won the lottery yet. So The next best thing would be a red and green macaw.

In the meantime, I have Kika. And I wouldnt want to miss him for the world.
If they hadnt tossed that bird into my lap I wouldnt have known how great they are. They truly are big parrots in a small body.

So, to lengthen a long answer even more:
I would go for a Cape or TAG.
My bf would go for a Hyacinth macaw.
Kika: Senegal Parrot.
Guus: Cockatiel, Yellowcheek, cinnamon, pearl, pied.
