Depends aaaaall on the bird and how much you work with it. ;)

...I personally would go with the GCC.

While I agree with this, all GCC I've met have been nippy little buggers.
I've been totally been put off GCC because of this...and it's not just a few and these are birds whom aren't "neglected" by their owners either. It just seems to be how they are as adults.

Not saying Meyer's and Red-bellieds aren't nippy - they are quiet capable of it.
But I have to say that all Meyer's and RBs I've met have not compared to GCC in how nippy they are.

I wouldn't say my gcc is very nippy and compared to the poi I've met she uses her beak much less :? Rainbow will let just about anyone scratch her head when she wants it and as I type this she is cuddled in my sweater and rubbing her head on my chin (in a minute she'll be terrorizing the computer area like a good parrot). She is nippier than my tiel ever was (my tiel almost never bit unless she was in "mommy mode") but she hasn't broken the skin since the first week I've had her and I'm very comfortable with her beak size as well. Of course my gcc is only about a year and a half to two years old and I'm not sure if her personality will change later on... I'm rather enjoying her feisty/cuddly/clownish ways right now though

Scooter is going through a bit of a nippy phase and is the same age as Rainbow. I notice I have to be quite careful not to inadvertently reward it, though, so it is partly my own fault. He definitely is more inclined than Scotty to act out with his beak when he's grumpy and/or tired, but his beak is enough smaller that it isn't really an issue the way it would be if he were bigger. He doesn't really bite so much as get busy with his beak it seems to me.
