Neww Grey Parront come spring

Postby RudysMom » Thu Sep 02, 2010 12:07 am

we have decided to add a Congo Grey to our little group here , omg 5 birds lol and this is the last one ,it was hubbys idea not mine lol but now he has to help out more , he will have a new cage to clean lol the breeder is patiently waiting on 2 of his breeding pairs to lay eggs , he said any day now :) and I put my request in for a big healthy male , I have 2 females and 2 males now so I guess the males will rule, we even picked out his name since we are driveing to Indiana in March or April we dicided to name him Indy , what do you all think about the name? does it sound lame?
will let everyone know when I get more details , just had to share the news :) :gray:

I love Indiana! In fact, it has been my plan to name a Grey Indiana someday when I get one. That's how much I love the name! Congratulations!

FYI The one screaming was an umbrella cockatoo, which are much louder than Goffin's... though Goffin's can be loud too.

Anyway Indy is a nice name! Congratulations on your new fid!!! :swaying:

Congrats on the new addition!! I love Indy as a name

I'm not a fan of 'toos myself, so I can see where you'd want to go with a less ear-piercing (by comparison of course) grey.

Ps, lets see some pics when you get some!!

I might not have to wait until next spring , I found a realnice breeder closer to me like a 30 minute drive :) but not sure if she dna tests her babies :( o well as long as I have a healthy baby I guess it doesn't matter so now we have 2 names picked out Indy for a boy and Lacey for a girl :)
now waiting to hear back from the breeder to see how old her babies are so I know when to go get a cage and start ordering erches and things :gray:
