Well, I already have a little parrot so now I want a bigger parrot. Remember that I was deliberating between an African Grey and a Cape for a long time. Basically I'm ready to add a bigger (not quite macaw but definitely bigger than Kili) parrot. I decided I was comfortable with the size of a Grey and Capes aren't even that big. So I want to get the biggest one possible in order to have the experience of a bigger parrot as I already have the small parrot experience satisfied by Kili.

How exciting! If it were me, this would be the longest 2 months of my life :)

I don't know very much about Cape's ... I'll have to take a look at the link that someone else provided earlier in the thread.

I can't imagine waiting that long Michael.

I waited 1 month to bring my Sennie Jessie home - he was 2 months old when I bought him and I had to wait for him to be weaned and maintaining a healthy weight once he was eating on his own. Fortunately, I lived fairly close to the store and was able to go and visit him whenever I wanted.

Jean wants to give me the 2nd of the two which is about two weeks behind the originally planned one. So that's a few more weeks of waiting.
