"Pois don't appeal to me."

Postby Azure Hanyo » Sat Sep 25, 2010 9:19 pm

Jovie made me eat those words today. She is so playful and cute despite her disability, and gets around very well, and STILL has the guts to try to show me she's bigger and tougher than I am. I said that pois in general didn't appeal to me awhile back...you know...I had this notion that I didn't like pois for some reason due to their general nippiness but um...Gal nips me pretty much daily... And I am crazy about her.

Anyway. I love pois. That is all.

They're endearing little buggers aren't they?

See my "Meyer's Parrot Question" post for some other pics. I am assuming you're just teasing me, but anyway. Here is a third one.

oh no, pois appear to be taking over the parrot world D= I have to say they still do not appeal to me, but I have a strong feeling that if I ever got one I'd be head over heals in love with it.... better not tempt me!

They didn't appeal to me until I saw Jovie, and even then I was thinking...meh...ok, she's a foster...and then she nipped me. Cha-ching. SOLD!

Honestly, Jovie reminds me A LOT of Galileo! She seems sweet and energetic, despite her veeeery limited room in the awful cage she's in right now. I can't wait until she has more room and her feathers all grow in. Her clip-job doesn't seem to be severe as I can see her primaries, I bet she could fly if she tried, but am not sure how well the landing would go. That is something I am afraid of.

Glad to hear your coming over to the dark side ;)

They truly are amazing little birds. As far as I'm concerned, they are the perfect size and they have SO MUCH personality!

I'm sure if Natacha wasn't on vacation, she'd have something to say considering she's the Poi Queen on this board :)
