Thanks!!
Have you watched "the wild parrots of telegraph hill" if not then you have to have to have to you will love it. I just saw it yesterday and cried my eyes out. It's all about cherry headed conures ....
I just ordered the movie! Can't wait to watch it. So far from what some have said the Cherry Headed Conure is a lot like the Half Moon: "clown like" Disney is definitely a clown! If in the future I ever get another bird it will most likely be another conure. So far I'm thinking a Gold Cap. Maybe a Cherry Head if the personality is similar to Disney's. Watching the movie might help. I'm sure to learn more about them. I always thought the parrots that made a home in San Francisco were Macaws. The movie will be more fun knowing they are conures. It'd also be interesting to learn how they keep up genetic diversity.
Conures just have the best personalities and there's so many different types of them, each one different which is what I love about them. Even though they might not talk as well as a they're the most loveable:) Let me know when you watch the movie what you think...keep some tissues nearby.
