Alexandrine Parakeet

Does anyone know where I can purchase a well socialized, hand-reared/tame Alexandrine? I live in Idaho and no one around here breeds these birds. I have read that it is very important that Alexandrines are well socialized from day 1. Any reputable breeders that ship?

i cant tell you of anyone who ships but i am going to warn you that they are VERY deconstruction more than your'e average parrot if you decide to buy an aviary in the summer it would have to be metal framing or ull find the wooden framing will be destroyed in a matter of days. but they are very nice birds if well socialized as all species
