question about possible new parrot

Hi, everyone. I am new here and found the forum while doing research.
I have a mealy amazon parrot named mauie and I have been wanting to add another parrot to my home for some time.
I recently came into contact with a breeder who has an 8 month old indian ringneck parrot. I was wondering if anyone could give me a little information about this bird and what training issues I will have with her. Also if she would mix in a home with my amazon (of course different cage but on opposite sides of the room). The lady said he was hand fed and has never bit anyone but has pinched her before.

indian ringnecks make great pets, we have them at the zoo, since you have an amazon i dont think the noise of a ring neck will be much of a problem

Thanks, I think we have made our decision and we will be going to meet him this afternoon. He is 8 months old and was said to be hand fed however from the videos he looks as if he is a bit shy and nippy.

if he hasn't been handled in a while he could be a bit insecure. i guess you will know once you see him
