Bonnie: Very feisty, for a budgie at least. When I first got her, she was braver than Clyde, but she was very cautious around me. I've only been bitten less than a handful of times by my birds. She only has bit me once, and that was when I first got her. It took months, but now she is actually friendlier to me, and out of the two budgies, she was the first to learn the command step up.
She is such a sweet heart. When I have the birds out, she always perches on my back. That way, she can preen my hair and my ears.
She's my best flier and always needs to be every where at once. I always see her doing crazy stunts in the cage. She loves going on the swing upside down, and swinging it close enough to the hanging millet, that she can get a nibble every time she swings close to it. She's crazy, and I love it.
I think it's safe to say she's my smartest bird. She's really clever and will often figure out before Clyde or Einstein. I have toys with moving parts for my birds. I believe it gives them extra mental stimulation. At first I bought a couple for Einstein, but he never really understood them for months. But the moment I gave the budgies one, she went right to it, and figured it out in no time.
She always tries new things. Converting her food was never a problem. She always needs to try new things. And the great thing is, birds often learn from example. Once one tries something, they all gotta try it.
Clyde: Clyde is my little scared-y cat. He was extremely nervous when I first got him. However, he was never aggressive. He let me handle him first, however, I could tell he was scared.
He has grown a lot more confident over this past year. Like Bonnie, he will do targeting and will step up. But. he still is a bit timid.
He will preen me, but only after Bonnie starts. He will never instigate a preening session with me.
I often think of Clyde as a sheep, and Bonnie is a shepherd. He needs her. She is his protection. Bonnie will often times go off on her own little adventures, leaving poor Clyde alone. She starts crying out for her, and will fly desperately to find her.
Clyde will never start a fight. Bonnie always to always be testing her limits with Einstein. But Clyde is pretty mellow with him. I kind of think of them as buddies.
Einstein: He is my baby. And I am his mommy. He adores me. Ever since I first brought him home, he has cuddled me and preened my eyelashes. He is never a bully, rather he sometimes gets bullied. Bonnie will go up to him and chase his tail, and he'll come flying to me. He's a very shy little bird, and will only really sing for me.
He has never bitten anyone. and I don't think he'd ever hurt anything. To people who know how to handle birds, he will actually go to quite easily without any aggression. He has only met two other bird-savvy people before, and he stepped up and perched on them without problems.
He is an awful flier. All of my birds came to me clipped, but Einstein has had the worst time flying. I think part of this has to do with his clumzy awkwardness. He is a goof ball, and he has horrible balance. He's had so many different landings, from power slides, to latching on to my head. But I love him

He is the least adventurous out of all my birds. He is scared of new things, and will often avoid them until I've had to prove it was safe, or he saw the other birds doing it.
I think this is an awful thing to say, but he is my favorite. He is my companion, and has done nothing but love me unconditionally since I got him.
I'm tired of ranting. All I've got to say though, is that I can't wait to build deeper bonds with my birds in the upcoming years.
