Well. . . It's been over 30 days.

You need to report the results.

Yeah, I track everyone else's eggs anticipated hatch dates.

Yeah well, they all were infetile , that sucks, the TAGs are on eggs and a pair of YNs might be thinkin about it , and the OWAs are starting to look like they might have another clutch, and of course tiels are hatching every day, Plus i think Josie been playing mother nature again. A handful of DYH chicks sure would have been nice though.

Alright Roz, DYHs are starting their 2nd clutch, !st egg on the 6th, these are usually the feritle ones. YNs started laying about the 4th, 2 eggs so far but haven,t been able to check today.TAGs should start hatching on the 8th or 9th. PS we have a new color tiel, white with yellow tail. Also a 2 pair of tiels quit sitting their eggs, never had this happen before, of course we had a very large fire burning just across the bay and the smoke very heavy at times however the wind died last night and things seem much better today.

ooooooo I'm living vicariously through others with eggs. . .

Other than ringnecks coming out of my nose (see the feathers sticking out?), a baby jenday hatched yesterday. That's about it.

On CAGs, I had read that a sure sign of eggs laid is when the hen spends the entire night in the box. Well, my CAGs apparently didn't read the same article I did. She's spent the last 2 nights in the box and nuthin'!

!! :o !!

Of course I WANT her. . . Thanks but I need to pass.

I was going to add a few more IRNs to my flock a couple of weeks ago. Sleeping on these decisions is a great idea - came to the conclusion that I really don't want to be inundated with too many birds and be overwhelmed.

I'm pretty much at my comfort level. But really, really appreciate the offer! :)

Hey Roz, sounds as if the TAGs are hatching, more action than normal and i think i could hear little peeps.Still these birds are very wild and i'll keep away another day or two.DYHs have 2 eggs and the napes have 3 last time i checked. OWA still acting like maybe another clutch. How about the CAGs ?any action?

I'm envious!

The CAGs-nope. Nothing. . .

I was reading that "stressing" them, like driving them around the block, might stimulate breeding and laying. Have you ever tried that? Sounds hokey to me, but I'm trying to keep an open mind.
