i had a moustache for a while. Pandora was very beautiful but quite loud.
i have a sennie and she is pretty quiet most of the time. Marnie talks and imitates my ringneck.
she is also quite the clown and loves to be on me and play upside down. she is like a gremlin
at times and has a jekyle-hyde personality.
i also have a ringneck and love them. they are my favorite bird. Bette is active, funny, eager and learns new stuff to say all the time. i love her cute talking voice. she has an annoying habit of screaming when i am on the phone. she will step up but is not cuddly.
but thats ok. i enjoy her just as she is.
getting a new bird is a big decision, do your research and spend some time with them. is there a rescue nearby where you can volunteer and learn stuff?

I have a 11 year old green cheek - he's cuddly and likes to be held and make a nest in my hair (oh that's funny -- then he laughs) and just wants to be my little buddy. He's playful but doesn't have to be constantly entertained, and is bff's with my cockatiel. He says several things (not a lot but enough), knows to whisper when it's dark at night, calls the dogs and other birds by name, etc.

I also have a Ringneck, he says a bit more than the GCC but can be very LOUD and is far from cuddly although he wants to give kisses repeatedly.

I love my Spikey - don't think you can go wrong with a GCC

Mustache Parakeets can be a bit bite-ish. They don't bite hard but they do bite. My neighbor has one and it's kind of grouchy. >_< lol

I have 2 GCCs and i find them very nice, cuddly, and not very noisy.

I would go with the GCC.

I have a mustache parakeet and they are very quiet unlike most birds they don't feel the need to wake you up at 3:30 in the morning and they can speak and allot of them seem will be quite interested with your hair.
