Congrats!
It seemed in your previous post you were more looking for the RB, why the change of heart (just out of curiosity, I don't think you can go wrong either way ;) )

Well we've had such a hard time trying to find one. Having a BH was our second choice as I have heard nothing bad about them. It's unfortunate that the coloring isn't as vibrant, but that's ok. We've looked at the pros and cons for both of them and would be happy with either.

I just bought a Meyers from a breeder in Ontario. I too had a hard time finding breeders here in Vancouver.

Good Luck with your new baby, my meyer's comes home next week!!!

FYI there is a good pet store on Broadway, West Coast Tropical for food cages etc and a GREAT toy maker who is local too "things for wings" you can check her out and pick up downtown....

Yea i've found that store online :)

They're prices seem to be a little steep on certain items such as cages, but playstands/toys seem to be reasonable :) I'll have to go check them out.. and thanks for the heads up on the toy store :)

Cheers,

Hahah, Mr Darcy, you're gonna once again say that I'm everywhere!! but..

I have worked with that breeder, and backed out last minute because she lied to me about her availability on normal green cheeks, to sell me a pineapple. She may raise nice birds, but has poor honesty.

Thanks for the heads up Darcy :)

We're set on the brownhead from Barbara in Ontario. She's been a TON of help and is always willing to provide her insight on any questions or concerns i've got. Plus many people have recommended her :)

2 chicks have hatched from a clutch of 4. So now we wait :P --- this is good tho as I've yet to purchase a cage etc etc etc... haha
