This is not from me, but I've read stuff about it written by professionals. And this looks like a good case of it to me.
I love animals, but I am not one who believes one should not rehome a pet he or she has adopted. I believe there are certain situations where finding a suitable home is necessary.
Who is happy here ? The bird ? The owners ? I think not.
