My 3 pair take turns producing clutches. They all have fun messing around then laying eggs but the first one to have a viable egg is the winner. The others get off their nests. (When the babies come out of the nest the whole flock takes care of them) Which works out great for me because I don't sell my babies. I find them homes.
It is a shame that it is not breeding season. There may be someone in your area that does the same.
