no :( one day i woke up i found the 4 destroyed ,not totaly destroyed just got a hole in them and thrown out of the nest box i dont know what happend :( a friend of mine told me that some females do this for no reason or if they got attacked by a predator but there is no predator to attack them :shock: :shock:

Did you check the eggs to see if they were fertile. If they were not or the mother senced something was wrong she would destroy them.

I have one of the cheap flashlights that take the big batteries. I found that a 13 oz coffee can lid will fit right on it. I make a hole a little smaller than the egg so the egg won't roll. The lid blocks out the other light and you can see right through the egg.
