Blue was also able to understand that Wallace was in distress and call for help for him. That is compassion.

I believe a Budgie and a Macaw have the same brain size in proportion to their bodies. This makes a Budgie as intelligent as a Macaw. You just have to look and listen closer to the tiny ones.

Those ParrotParents with just Budgies are able to do this. The mixed flocks make it more difficult.

Don't under estimate the power of tiny.

with that analogy, mice are more intelligent then humans lol :) since their brain is proportionately bigger then humans.

I don't believe that brain size has anything to do with intelligence, we have fairly big brains but I reckon we are probably the most stupid species alive- look what we have done to the planet, look at all the illnesses and stuff we have created through not allowing ourselves to evolve naturally by interfereing and allowing people to have children who should have otherwise died and not been able to pass on their genes. Same with how we raise are animals. Look at the fact we can no longer cope without clean water, oil and electricity, if something happened to prevent the use of these the majority of people would die and probably sooner rather than later.

Yes we are clever to have figured out everything we have so far but we are nowhere near as intelligent as we think we are. Animals are the smartest, they aren't deliberately killing themselves off.......

not wanna get into an argument who's the most intelligent, but I do think there is a difference between intelligence and stupidity and that one person or living creature can possess them both.

FINALLY! someone who thinks like i do!
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands.

Hmmm we have the potential to be not that bad ;) There are individuals that aren't that bad too but on the whole we are pretty much poisoning everything we touch. It doesn't help that there are way too many of us though, the system will crash eventually, we cant keep growing and using the worlds resources forever- not at this rate anyway.
