african gray body language

Postby chris key » Fri Aug 12, 2011 8:13 pm

Hi,
We adopted a six year old african gray about a month and a half ago. At times he will drop his wings lower than normal and hold them away from his body. He does when he sits on my husbands shoulder. Anyone know what this means? Also he will bob his head up and down and pin and unpin his eyes. I think this means he isnt sure about something. Does that sound correct? His body language is different then my smaller parrots. Thanks. :gray:
