After much debate and talking, my fiance and I made the 8 hour drive up to Staffa, Ontario and purchased our first baby green cheek conure! She is 3 months old and the sweetest little thing. On the ride home she was out with me the whole time, cuddling into my hands or cuddling into my sweater. It took her all of 10 minutes to get used to us! She slept in my sweater the whole way home
Today she is eating her pellet/seed mix the breeder sent us home with, as well as trying loving the whole grain rice I cooked her, and the apple slice as a treat. I plan on switching her to the TOPs pellets, but unfortunately they won't arrive until the 17th. Boo. She makes the sweetest little peeps too!
