Looking for a new parrot which should I get?

Im looking for a new parrot. I don't know which one to get .
I'm thinking about either a red- bellied parrot, meyer's parrot, sun conure, or a Senegal parrot.
Can you please help? I only want one. Which one would you pick if you had to choose?

Unfortunately, those qualities suit all ofthe species you mentioned. However, Conures and Poicephalus parrots (Meyer's, Red Bellied, etc) are pretty different in demeanor.

Conures remin me of bold, scrappy puppies that are needy of attention and very physically expressive. Sun Conures have a very loud call, and if they will use it to get your attention. If you ever plan to live in an apartment, you could get evicted due to your Sun's screams.

Pois in general are more cautious and *think* over their actions more so than not. Pois are also less vocal and quite independent, yet cuddly when time is appropriate. They also have a higher ability in mimicry, not that this guarantees a talking bird.

I don't think you should count on any bird to be "cuddly". They are after all birds, and not all actually enjoy being touched, even if they are tame. If you want an animal to cuddle with, dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs are better.

And as for nice - Poicephalus are not known for being sweet, in fact they (especially the females, speaking from personal experience...) can be a real PITA, and bite without warning.
Parrots are just not meant to be "cuddle pets" for humans, I'm afraid.

While I agree with the last statement, I do disagree with the female Poi portion of what is above it.
I have two females, a Senegal and a Red-bellied, and both are absolutely adorable. The RB more so with me than anyone else but I find my male Meyer's to be much more troublesome

i think you should see which one of those is the best talker and get him , because you already have a budgie Ray which is cant talk . so i think making you second parrot a talking one would be very cool so you can teach him talking on cue and stuff like that. i say get a senegal i saw one talking very good on youtube and of course you saw kili the best parrot in the world

There are tons of African Greys and Amazons that never utter a single word in their lifetime. Buying a bird just for its talking ability is not a good idea at all.
